Getting a website up can be a bit of a challenge sometimes; I just launched my fourth on my own and next time I will definitely be using website builder software instead of Dreamweaver. Dreamweaver is a great piece of software for complicated web sites, but if you have just a small ecommerce site you want to put up, try an online website builder so you don't have to go through all the complicated steps using Dreamweaver and putting up your own site. An online website builder will let you include your own text and images, and setting up the links to take credit cards or checks online will be easier.
Another thing you can do to make your life easier when putting up a website is to register your domain with the same company who is doing the hosting. That way, you will only have to remember one user name and one password to access your account. And when you get ready to put your website up, you won't have to point it somewhere else to get it live. Website builder programs are the easiest way to get sites up in a hurry, so if you want to start now and get immediate results, go that route. |
